Ross Nelson, MD

Dr. Ross Nelson completed his undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University . He obtained his medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical School in Shreveport, Louisiana. Dr. Nelson then completed residency in Anesthesiology at Parkland Memmial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He completed his fellowship in the field of Pain Medicine including interventional spine techniques at Baylor University Medical Center and UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Nelson is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management and also a diplomat of An1erican Board of Pain Medicine. He has served on the Board of the Louisiana Pain Society and as an assistant professor at LSUMC. Dr. Nelson has been in practice with Pain Care Consultants since 2000.
